Once a week without meat

How to make the climate crisis relevant for everybody‘s life?

The following presentation is an idea for a global campaign based on the statement of Nobel Laureate Rajendra Pachauri “I want to highlight the fact that among options for mitigating climate change, changing diets is something one should consider”. The goal is to mobilize the citizens of industrialized parts of the world with the global campaign: Once a Week Without Meat.

We want to share this idea with you to create a worldwide network shaping and finally realizing it on your own. Paul Mc Cartney recently started 'meat free mondays'. A site dedicated to helping people have at least one day a week totally free of meat.

The project team decided during the workshop to change the name into: "more taste - less meat"

The Global Marshall Plan Foundation right now searches for partners and communication agency that would like to start the campaign.
